Today’s Reflection: Identity
Every journey begins with a question.
Who am I?
Before we can faithfully steward our time, our relationships, our work, or the opportunities placed before us, we must first learn to steward ourselves.
That begins with identity.
Identity is not measured by our achievements.
It is not determined by our failures.
It is not found in our job title, our possessions, or the opinions of others.
Identity is the foundation from which every decision, every relationship, and every purpose begins.
When we understand who we are, we become less dependent on the approval of others and more focused on living with integrity, humility, and purpose.
A person who knows their identity does not need to pretend to be someone else.
They are free to grow, to learn, to serve, and to become the person they were created to be.
As we begin this journey together, may we remember that stewardship starts closer to home than we often realise.
Before we are entrusted with greater responsibilities, we are first entrusted with ourselves.
Today, take a quiet moment to reflect.
Am I faithfully caring for the person entrusted to me?
